— Detailed scientific data

Effects documented in the literature

AHK-Cu (Ala-His-Lys copper) is a copper tripeptide derived from the same family as GHK-Cu. In vitro studies (PMID 17703734, PMC8332470) showed marked stimulation of VEGF by dermal papilla cells, supporting peri-follicular angiogenesis. The complex increases keratinocyte and dermal fibroblast proliferation, lengthens the anagen phase of the hair cycle, and modulates the expression of TGF-β2 (a hair growth inhibitor). At the biochemical level, the studies describe activation of lysyl oxidase, a copper-dependent enzyme essential for collagen and elastin cross-linking. No systemic hormonal effect has been documented in in vitro models. These data come from the scientific literature and are provided strictly for informational purposes in a research context. This product is not intended for veterinary, diagnostic or therapeutic use and is not recommended for any use outside a scientific, professional and research setting. [1]
