How long does shipping take?

Orders paid before 3 PM (Paris time) are prepared the same day and handed to the carrier within 24 business hours. Delivery within mainland France then takes 48 to 72 hours, and 2 to 5 business days within the rest of Europe.

Do you ship outside the European Union?

Not yet. We currently ship only within the European Union. Expansion to other countries (Switzerland, United Kingdom, United States, Canada, Australia) is under review — tracking is provided from shipment for all EU orders.

Is the packaging discreet?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Plain packaging, with no logo or mention of Peptinium Labs on the outside. Vials are carefully cushioned in padded packaging to absorb shocks during transit.

What happens if my package is lost or damaged?

Contact support with proof (photos of the package and vials for damage, or a screenshot of stalled tracking for a loss) and we will find an appropriate solution: reshipment or refund depending on the case. Without proof, we unfortunately cannot open a claim with the carrier.

Can I modify an order I've already placed?

Yes, as long as it hasn't been prepared yet. Contact support by email or via your account's messaging — the modification window is generally 2 to 4 hours after payment.

What payment methods do you accept?

Credit card (Visa / Mastercard / American Express), SEPA bank transfer, and cryptocurrencies (USDC and USDT on Polygon, Bitcoin). Crypto payment has no intermediary and no additional fees.

Is crypto payment safe and anonymous?

Yes. You pay directly to our wallet addresses, no third party is involved. No KYC is required. Only the public blockchain sees the transaction (address → address); no customer data is transmitted.

Is the crypto price locked while I'm paying?

Yes. When the payment voucher is generated, the EUR → USDC / USDT / BTC rate is locked for 20 minutes via CoinGecko. After that, the order is cancelled and a new voucher is generated at the current rate.

As soon as the first blockchain confirmation lands — about 15 seconds for USDC/USDT on Polygon, 10 minutes for BTC. An automatic confirmation email is sent upon validation.

Not at the moment. We favor direct payment to remain free of intermediaries. Automatic quantity discounts are there to offset larger orders.

What does HPLC purity ≥ 99% mean?

That the main peak area of the peptide represents at least 99% of the total area detected by reverse-phase HPLC. The remaining less than 1% consists of residual impurities (truncated peptides, salts, solvents). This is the analytical standard expected in research.

What is a CoA and why does it matter?

A Certificate of Analysis is a report issued by an independent third-party laboratory that certifies the identity, purity, and quantification of a specific batch. It is essential for any defensible experimental data.

How can I verify that a CoA hasn't been tampered with?

Each Janoshik Analytical CoA carries a unique alphanumeric key. You enter it on janoshik.com to retrieve the original report directly from the lab. Without this cross-check, a PDF has no scientific value.

Are your CoAs batch-specific or generic?

Batch-specific, systematically. Two syntheses are never strictly identical — 99.2% purity vs 99.7%, quantification at 9.9 mg vs 10.1 mg. A generic CoA is, by construction, not compliant with analytical standards.

How do I reconstitute a lyophilized peptide?

In the lab: introduce bacteriostatic water into the vial, letting the liquid run down the wall (never directly onto the powder), then gently swirl. The solution should be clear, colorless, and free of particles.

At least 24 months at −20 °C, protected from light. 12 months at 2–8 °C if the vial remains sealed. Tolerated 5 to 7 days at room temperature for transport, with no measurable loss of activity.

What about a reconstituted solution?

21 to 28 days at 2–8 °C, protected from light, in bacteriostatic water (0.9% benzyl alcohol). Without preservative (pure WFI), stability drops to 24–72 hours.

Why should a reconstituted solution never be refrozen?

Each freeze/thaw cycle forms ice crystals that disrupt the structure and cause local osmotic stress. Measurable analytical activity loss occurs starting from the second cycle.

What are the visual signs of a degraded solution?

Yellow or brown coloration, precipitate at the bottom of the vial, persistent haziness, stable foam after shaking. In these cases, the peptide is no longer usable, regardless of initial purity.

What does "Research Use Only" (RUO) mean?

It's a regulatory status that restricts a product's use to in vitro scientific research in a professional setting. It excludes any veterinary, diagnostic, or therapeutic use. This framework is shared by most academic suppliers (Sigma-Aldrich, Bachem, Tocris).

Yes, as long as they are acquired and used within a research context. Peptinium Labs does not sell medicines and makes no therapeutic claims. It is up to the buyer to ensure their use is compliant.

No, there is no status verification at sign-up. By accepting the RUO terms, you certify that the order is intended for research use in a professional setting.

Can your peptides be used in veterinary medicine?

No. None of our products are approved for veterinary, diagnostic, or therapeutic use. The RUO (Research Use Only) status strictly prohibits it.

How are quantity discounts applied?

Automatically in the cart once the threshold is reached. On the RT-3 10 mg: −5% from 3 vials, −10% from 6 vials. The scale applies to the reference price of €119.

From the Profile tab of your account, or by writing to support. Deletion is effective within 48 hours and erases all personal data (GDPR). CoAs and invoices tied to past orders remain archived for 10 years for accounting reasons.
