SNAP-8 is an octapeptide derived from the N-terminal sequence of the SNAP-25 protein, studied for its action on expression lines. Matrixyl (palmitoyl pentapeptide-4) is described in the cosmetic literature as a messenger peptide involved in extracellular matrix synthesis (collagen I, III, fibronectin). Hyaluronic acid, used at two molecular weights, provides surface hydration and an immediate plumping effect.
